A forex trading mentor is essential for successful forex trading.  Many traders will learn forex through reading or online course taking, but learning from another successful trader will bring more potential for success.  An experienced mentor will understand market movement and can implement that experience into their training.  
The problem with using online information and relying simply on self-study for forex trading is that most information lacks real structure and application.  You cannot ask those sources direct questions and receive immediate, applied answers like you can with a mentor.  Study courses that are designed to give you clear, accurate examples in a structured manner can be very useful and profitable, but the BEST forex training you will receive is from a forex mentor.  Mentoring packages are often available which include a mentor, forex software, and various tools such as trading charts and manuals. When looking for a mentor, be sure to do your research on each opportunity.  Mentors will have programs and strategies that they prefer and it is important to choose those based on your personal preferences.  Meet with potential mentors several times before making your decision.   It is important to be assured that you will communicate well with him or her and can understand their method of teaching.
